A key goal of the UK CARDIO-IMID Partnership is to connect, train and empower the next generation of cardio-rheumatology clinicians and researchers. As part of this, we are establishing an Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network across our Partnership centres to facilitate communication, learning and collaboration. UK CARDIO-IMID Hub
We are developing a novel CARDIO-IMID educational platform comprising a series of complementary virtual lectures and supporting content delivered by Partnership members who are world-leading experts in the fields of CVD and IMID. As UK CARDIO-IMID Partnership members, access to the UK CARDIO-IMID Hub will be free-of-charge. Further updates and access details will be provided on the UK CARDIO-IMID Hub page.
Travel Fellowship Taster Sessions
We will be supporting exchange schemes for young researchers from primary CV and IMID backgrounds to nurture interaction and skills transfer. The travel fellowships will provide financial support to cover travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses for short placements of 1-2 weeks at other Partnership centres in the UK to gain exposure to new cardio-rheumatology skills and develop collaborative work.
