A key goal of the UK CARDIO-IMID Partnership is to connect, train and empower the next generation of cardio-rheumatology clinicians and researchers. As part of this, we are establishing an Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network across our Partnership centres to facilitate communication, learning and collaboration. Curriculum
We are developing a novel CARDIO-IMID training programme comprising a series of complementary virtual lectures and seminars delivered by Partnership members who are world-leading experts in the fields of CVD and IMID. Training content can be accessed free-of-charge below.
Travel fellowship/exchange scheme
We will be supporting exchange schemes for young researchers from primary CV and IMID backgrounds to nurture interaction and skills transfer. The travel fellowships will provide financial support to cover travel and accommodation expenses for up-to 3 months to other Partnership centres in the UK to learn new methods and develop collaborative work.
