UK CARDIO-IMID Partnership to Exhibit at BCS Annual Conference 2026

The UK CARDIO-IMID Partnership is pleased to announce that we will be hosting an exhibition stand at the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) Annual Conference, taking place in June 2026.

Our presence at BCS reflects the growing recognition of cardio-rheumatology as a vital and evolving field, highlighting the need for closer collaboration between cardiology and those working in immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs). The Partnership continues to bring together clinicians, researchers, and allied health professionals from across the UK to improve cardiovascular outcomes for patients with IMIDs through research, education, and clinical innovation.

Featured Hot Topic Session

As part of this year’s programme, we are delighted that Dr Tha Htet Nyi will deliver a dedicated hot topic session:

  • Title: Cardio-Rheumatology for Cardiologists: Insights into Cardiovascular Risk and Imaging in Autoimmune Rheumatic Diseases
  • Time: 10:40–10:55
  • Location: Education Hall – Hot Topics Zone 2

This session will provide valuable insights into cardiovascular risk assessment and imaging in autoimmune rheumatic diseases, underlining the importance of cross-specialty knowledge in modern cardiovascular practice.
