The first course of the UK CARDIO-IMID Hub on MedShr has been seen by more than 400 doctors with excellent feedback.
The free online programme brings together leading experts in cardiology, rheumatology and immunology to explore the relationship between immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs) and cardiovascular disease.
The programme currently includes five modules covering:
- Introduction to cardio-rheumatology
- Cardiovascular disease in IMIDs: a practical primer
- Rheumatic IMIDs: a practical primer
- Immune mechanisms of ischaemic cardiovascular disease
- Immune mechanisms of inflammatory cardiomyopathy
The programme is available free of charge through MedShr and includes CPD-accredited learning activities.
